Our New Toy Tents

On July 14, Uncle Nic came back from Brazil and came over to our house with Goo Goo Mei. They bought us new toy tents and we love them. Thanks for our tents, Goo Goo Mei and Uncle Nic!

Writing My Name

Mommy was surprised the other day when I wrote my name out of the blue and all by myself... well actually, she helped me with the letter "K" but I did everything else myself. Mommy says that I am such a smart boy. By the way, that is a "dot" after the "K" (i.e., Ethan K.).

Uncle Tim and Goo Goo Mei

On July 11, Uncle Tim and Goo Goo Mei came over to see us. Daddy made a delicious dinner for us. We always have a good time when we spend time with family.

A Weekend at Yeh Yeh's House

We spent the night at Yeh Yeh's house on July 10. As usual, we had a great time. We had dinner at a restaurant in Irvine. Then we had coffee, pastries, and yogurt. The next day, we went out to have breakfast at the local Chinese breakfast place. We love going to Yeh Yeh's house and can't wait to go back again.

Swimming

On July 4th, i started swimming with my arm floaties. Since then, i've become quite the swimming machine. I can swim all over the pool (of course with daddy watching close by). Matthew hasn't quite got the hang of it yet...but I'm sure he will soon.

Washing Uncle Nic's Car

This past Monday, me and Matthew washed Uncle Nic's car. Uncle Nic left his car at our house for a couple of weeks while he was in Brazil. During those couple of weeks, his car got really dirty so we decided to wash it for him as a welcome home surprise.

L.A. Live with Uncle Tim

Last weekend, we spent some time with Uncle Tim. Uncle Tim just got back from Taiwan not to long ago and it's the first time we've seen him in almost a year. We hung out at LA Live and had lunch at the ESPN Zone (which is very expensive for mediocre food). Afterwards, we hung out at LA Live for a while and had Uncle Tim chase us around.

4th of July

Here are some pictures of what we did on July 4th.
Here are some pictures taken at Sanam Luang, which is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the valley.

After lunch we went to Tita Charmaine's house in Valencia for a July 4th potluck and pool party.

After leaving the party, we rushed home to catch the July 4th fireworks show in studio city. We've gone to see these fireworks for the last 3 years now, so its becoming somewhat of a family tradition for us. We love July 4th!! Happy Birthday America!!

Time for Another Haircut

Matthew and I haven't gotten a haircut in a couple of months and so our hair has gotten so long. Mommy and Daddy finally decided that it was time for another haircut. We went to our local family hair salon. I usually hate getting haircuts but this time around, I was really good. I sat on Daddy's lap with no complaints and let the stylist cut my hair. Matthew sat on Mommy's lap and was really good, too (although he's usually very good anyway). As a reward for our good behavior, we went to have ice cream at the shop next door.

Daddy Horse

We love rough-housing with Daddy. We especially enjoy it when he lets us ride on his back. Matthew and I love our Daddy horse.

Pool Party with Mommy's College Roomies

On June 26, Mommy's college roomies and their families came over to our house for a pool party. Mommy says that she doesn't get a chance to get together much with her friends because everyone has such busy schedules and so it was a treat to be able to get together with 2 of her 3 roomies. We had a great time swimming and hanging out with the Kameya family and the Zahn family. We can't wait to see them again soon.
