October Birthday Lunch at CPK

This past Sunday, we went home to Westminster to celebrate all of the October birthday's on Daddy's side of the family. Yeh Yeh's birthday was Oct 1, Mommy's was October 12th, and me and Bobbi (Great Grandma) share a birthday on October 14th. We went to CPK in Huntington Beach and had a great lunch. Daddy had to go run a couple of errands right in the middle of lunch though because Mommy left daddy in charge of packing up some stuff for our trip to Orange County...and he forgot some critical items. First, Daddy realized that he forgot to bring the memory card for the camera, so he had to run to Staples to buy one...and then later on, he realized that he forgot to bring a Drop-In bottle for Matthew, so he had to run to Target to get one of those. That's why Mommy is usually in charge of packing.

Here are some pictures from CPK.
CPK is actually in a shopping mall called Bella Terra in Huntington Beach. They have a "grassy" area there where kids can run around. It's not really grass though...it's more like astro-turf. Anyways, we went there after lunch so that me and Matthew could be free.

Goo Goo Mei went nuts with the camera and taking pictures. She did take a lot of nice pictures though.

At the grassy area, there were a lot of kids there running around. In particular, there was a group of 6 or 7 girls there (ranging from maybe 7-10 years old) who were just flying around the play area and basically rough-housing with each other. Unfortunately, one girl ran by where I was playing and basically stampeded me. I was not happy. But daddy was there to comfort me.

Here's a cool picture of me and Uncle Nick...check me out, I'm flying!!

Our group photo before we left. Daddy was the one taking the picture...and i was hanging on his leg, so we are not in the photo...but you can tell that everyone was amused by my antics. All in all, it was a great day!!

Tyson's Birthday Party

On October 11th, we went to celebrate Tyson's birthday at Traintown or Trainsville (Daddy can't rember what it's called) over near Griffith Park. We had a great time there (especially the long train ride around the park). Plus I had a great time hanging out with Evan, Tessa, and Lindsey...we don't get to see them enough.

The best part about Tyson's birthday party was the rocks on the train tracks there. Matthew and I had a blast throwing the rocks around. Actually, Matthew didn't throw the rocks around...he just wanted to eat every rock that was there. Mommy and Daddy were very busy pulling rocks away from his mouth. Anyways, here are some pictures of Tyson and I. We always take the best pictures together. Happy Birthday Tyson...can't believe we're both two!!! Man, we're old!!

Mommy's Birthday

This past Sunday (October 12th) was Mommy's birthday. We had all of mommy's family come over and celebrate. Daddy cooked up some steaks for everyone, and then afterwards we had a Wii marathon of Mario Karts and Wii Fit. I'm not quite sure how to actually play anything on the Wii, but all i know is that i make some swinging motions with my hand and arms and then stuff happens on the TV.

Because Mommy's birthday is only two days before mine, sometimes it has been getting lost in the shuffle as both Mommy and Daddy scramble to plan, prepare and the recover from my annual birthday bash. But i want Mommy to know that she will never get "lost in the shuffle" for me or Matthew. Mommy's birthday will always be a very special day to us, because our Mommy is a very special mom. We love you mommy! Happy Birthday!!!

It's My 2nd Birthday!!!

Hey everyone, today is my birthday. Believe it or not, i'm 2 years old already. Time sure flies when you're having fun. Anyways, today was a great day. Here are a few pictures of what I did.

*****
In the morning, i woke up full of energy and in a good mood (lately i've been waking up kinda grumpy). I knew that it was my birthday so i was in good spirits. The first thing that i did today was work on my jumping skills. As you can see, i have some serious hops!!

When Mommy and Daddy came home from work, we went to the pumpkin patch in Woodland Hills (the same one that we went to last year). Matthew got to experience his first pumpkin patch. This is my second. Of course daddy took about a thousand pictures while we were there.

After we got home from the pumpkin patch, Mommy and Daddy busted out the birthday cupcake for me with two candles on it. We sang happy birthday to me and then i tried to blow out my candles. As you might be able to tell, i haven't quite mastered the art of blowing yet so mommy had to help me.

The best part of the night though came afterwards when daddy blew up my birthday bounce house in our family room!!! Can you believe it???!!! It was awesome!! Matthew and I loved it. We bounced away for a good hour and a half (while Mommy and Daddy ate their dinner in relative peace). What a great birthday!! I can't wait till I turn 3!

My New Favorite Toy

I got a lot of great presents for my birthday party, but my favorite by far is this drum from Uncle Zach and Auntie Arielle. I bang this sucker day and night. Daddy is overjoyed. Haaa!!! Daddy says maybe one day i'll be in the UCLA drumline.

My 2nd Birthday Party

This past Saturday (10/4), we had my second birthday party. We had about 70 people over at our house (including 15 or 16 kids). It was a ton of fun. Daddy bought a bounce house that all the kids loved (especially Matthew...he was in there forever). The decorations were awesome and the kids loved the face painting thanks to Auntie Myriam and Auntie Lourdes... plus we had some great food and great cake and cupcakes. It was a great party. Everybody had a great time.

Auntie Ana's Baby Shower

We went to Auntie Ana's baby shower a couple of weekends ago down in Cheviot Hills Park. Auntie Ana is having twin boys (due October 31). We are very excited for her. Anyways, the baby shower was great, Matthew was spoiled by all the girls there and I got to kick a ball around with Daddy (check out some of the action shots below). Oh, there's also a picture of me in my "lean back" pose again. Oh...Auntie Ana had a pinata at her party too. Daddy tried to show me how to hit the pinata, but i couldn't do it right. Maybe I'll be able to do it when i'm older.

Universal Citywalk

A couple of weekends ago, Mommy and Daddy took us to Universal Citywalk to hang out. We had dinner there and then we hung out and people watched. Check out my latest pose (top-center) that i do for pictures recently...daddy and mommy aren't sure why i do that (in fact, neither do i), but i think that it's cool! I also had a great time watching the water fountains. If it was hotter, mommy and daddy would've let me run through them...maybe next time.

Here's some pictures of Matthew...i just can't wait till he can walk so we can run around together.

Ethan Taking a Bath

Mommy and Daddy bought a new baby bath tub for Matthew recently. I usually don't need a baby bath tub to take a bath, but it looked like so much fun.

Lunch with Uncle Nick and Goo Goo Mei

The Sunday before we went to Disneyland, we stopped by Long Beach to have lunch with Uncle Nick and Goo Goo Mei. We had lunch at the Yard House in Shoreline Village. We had so much fun with them that Matthew didn't want them to leave (see center picture)...actually i think he just wanted his milk.

More Pictures from Disneyland

Here's a few more pictures from Disneyland. Daddy hopes to take some better pictures the next time we visit (since we have the annual pass). It was just hard to take pictures since we always had to unstrap me and Matthew from our strollers...plus it was soo hot!! Anyways, some of the pictures below are from the disneyland train (that runs around the perimeter), Alice in Wonderland (top right) and the monorail. Yeh Yeh and Betty Nai Nai also visited us one night and we had dinner with them at Downtown Disney at the Rainforest Cafe.
