Disneyland Trip

Last week, we had our first Disneyland trip. We were there Monday and Tuesday (we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel on Monday night). It was a lot of fun. However, the whole experience is still a bit much for both Matthew and I. We get tired so easily from all the excitement that we spend half the time sleeping in our strollers. But we still had a great time...especially because we got to spend some good quality family time together. Here are some pictures in no particular order...

****

This is the giant Mickey Mouse in front of the Disneyland Hotel. We actually took this picture right before we left on Tuesday. You can tell that i've had enough of being in the stroller by this time. Matthew on the otherhand is sound asleep.

Here's the entrance to Disneyland. We had to take a few pictures there like everyone else. You can see that i'm a little impatient already after 5 minutes in the park. I want to get moving!! I'm not having this stop and take some pictures thing. What made things worse is that Mommy and Daddy had to get their photo id's for their annual passes that they bought. That delay right at the beginning of our day at Disneyland, almost caused me to have a break down. Luckily i was able to hold it together until they finished what they had to do.

These are some pictures from Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. It's a character breakfast where Goofy and his buddies come up to your table and you can take some pictures with them. Daddy says that this is just another ploy from Disneyland to take every last penny in your wallet. The buffet costs $30 per adult. Luckily for Daddy, Matthew and I were free.

This is when Goofy first came to our table. Matthew and I were totally oblivious to him. In fact, i was more interested in my orange juice than i was in Goofy.

Here are some of the other characters that visited our table.

Pictures from California Adventure. More pictures to follow in another post....

Matthew's Baptism Video

Daddy's Scary Eyes

3 Weeks ago, daddy had a procedure done to his eyes called Lasik. Apparently, Daddy couldn't see anything before without his glasses or contact lenses, but after the lasik surgery, Daddy now has 20/20 vision. Daddy said that the actual process only takes about 10 minutes for both eyes and is painless, although there definitely some discomfort (imagine someone putting a finger on your eyeball). After the surgery, Daddy's eyes did look kinda scary though cause he had blood vessels burst in his eyes during the surgery. This is apparently very common. You can see his bloody eyes in the pictures below. You can also see in the pictures that Matthew and I were not digging daddy's gross eyes. But thank goodness that Daddy's eyes are back to normal now and all is well. Now he can take a good look at the mess that Matthew and I always make in the house. Haaaa!!!

Matthew's First Taste of Baby Food

When Matthew turned 6 months old, we started feeding him baby food. Mommy and Daddy have been meaning to put this up on the blog, but they kept forgetting. Anyways, here it is...pictures of Matthew's first taste of solid food (sorry...we're two months late on this posting).

Matthew's Baptism

Last Sunday, Matthew had his baptism at St. Frances De Sales church. It's the same church where I was baptized. Anyways, it was a great celebration and a very special day for our family since we all love Matthew so much. Matthew was such a good boy during the baptism...he didn't cry at all. In fact, he actually fell asleep during the ceremony. You can see in some of the pictures below that Matthew is out like a light. Also, i must say that i was very behaved also. Mommy and Daddy were very, very proud of me. They said that I seemed to know that it was a special day for Matthew and i didn't throw a fit or cause any commotion at the church or at home. However, now that the baptism is over...i'm ready to start hogging the spotlight again. ha!!! After the baptism, we went back to our house and continued the celebration with all of our family. It was a great day!!

Happy Baptism Matthew!!! Me, Mommy and Daddy love you very much.

UCLA FOOTBALL!!!

Last Night, UCLA won it's first football game of the season...needless to say, Daddy was very excited. Daddy thinks UCLA will still struggle this year, but the Bruins football team is definitely on it's way back. Here's an old picture of me sporting my UCLA football jersey.

Also, i gave daddy permission to put the following on our blog...it's a video of Daddy's new favorite Bruin!

CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!
