These are pictures when Mommy first went back to work. She was sad to leave us with our babysitter, but she was also glad to go back to work and see all her friends. Matthew and I loved spending every minute with Mommy for 4 months straight...thanks for always taking such good care of us mommy, even though we can be very demanding! We love you!!

Celebrating Father's Day

On the saturday before Father's day, we went back to Westminster to celebrate father's day with Yeh Yeh. We had dim sum for lunch and then had cake back at Yeh Yeh's house. It was a lot of fun...but then i think everything is fun.

Celebrating Ninong John's Birthday

On Father's day, we went to Ninong John's house to celebrate Father's day and Ninong John's birthday. As usual, i had a great time playing with everyone. I especially liked playing with Kuya Jared's markers. Daddy didn't want to to mark up my UCLA basketball jersey so he had me take it off, so i was playing with markers, ghetto style.

Kuya Jared's Dance Recital

Kuya Jared had a dance recital a couple weeks ago (we are really behind on the blog)...he and a bunch of kids his age did a dance to the song from Hairspray. They were the last act of the night, but they were definitely the best and most entertaining. No joke. Afterwards we went to CPK in northridge for a late dinner. You can see in one of the pictures below how good my table manners are. Matthew and I both had a lot of fun.

Celebrating Papa's Birthday

Again several weeks ago, we celebrated papa's birthday at our house. Happy birthday papa!! All of mommy's family came over and we had dinner and played some singing game on the wii. Of course since i don't know any songs, i resorted to my usual air guitar (with the TV remote control) in the background.

Lounging Around Together

In the mornings, Mommy and Daddy put Matthew on the bed with me and we watch some morning cartoons together. As soon as they put him down, I usually give matthew a big wet, drooly kiss on his forehead, give him a hug and then i hold his hand while we watch television.

Playing in the Activity Center

Now that Matthew is getting a bit bigger and his able to hold his big head up, he's been able to play with a lot of my old toys. This is the activity center that i used to play in. Seems like just yesterday that i was rockin in the activity center. Oh those were the days...when i was young and carefree. Now i have so much stress...i have to think about whether to watch wiggles or blues clues and i have to always find my toys...it's hard being 1.

Hanging Out at the Grove

Many, many weeks ago we went to the grove, although you can't tell from Matthew's picture....my picture isn't any more revealing either though...although mine is from the inside of J Crew...i was shopping for some khaki's and then i heard a cool song come on over the store speakers, so i had to grab daddy's phone (my mini air guitar) and start jamming. That's one of my air guitar faces.

Bouncy Baby

Check out my baby brother in my old bouncer...he bounces really good just like I did back in the day!

Eating Together

More pictures of Matthew and I at dinner time. This picture is definitely a little dated, cause now i definitely don't like to sit in high chair. I gots to sit in the big people chair man!!!!

Shopping at Costco

It seems like we go to costco all the time now to get milk (we usually have 3 gallons in our fridge at all times), formula, diapers, etc etc. Now that i'm a big boy i get to ride in the cart, which i find very fun. I also know to hold on so i don't fall over, especially when daddy pushes me really fast.

Bumble Bee

Here's Matthew dressed up like a bumble bee...it isn't even Halloween yet Mommy!!!! Check out the picture of Matthew on the left...he's giving the stink eye. The picture on the right...i think he's just pooping.

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday

Sorry Blog Fans, Mommy and Daddy have been totally lagging on the posts. They will try and do better. It's just been hard lately cause Mommy and Daddy have both been really busy at work and when they come home, they are still really busy with me and Matthew. Plus getting on the computer for them is near impossible with me around. Everytime i see them on the computer, i make a big fuss until they let me watch the wiggles on Youtube. Oh, Daddy was also on jury duty for the last two weeks so that didn't help either.

Anyways, these are a few pictures of when Mommy and Daddy were able to get away for a couple of hours to celebrate Daddy's birthday. Mommy took Daddy to Arnie Morton's for steak. Daddy said it was good, but he can do better grilling a steak at home on his own...chinese style - meaning marinated in soy sauce!!!

Matthew's 4-Month Check-Up

Matthew had his 4-month check-up about a month ago. He got a couple of shots on his thighs and boy was he mad! Mommy had to really work hard at comforting him so that he would calm down. Anyway, the doctor said that Matthew is a healthy baby boy. He weighed in at 18 lbs. 5 oz. He is in the 97th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for both height and head circumference. He is a big boy just like me.

Rough Housing

Daddy loves to mess around with me and Matthew. Here he is making Matthew sit on my back as punishment for the mess that i made in the family room (see picture). When Matthew gets bigger, we are still going to mess up the family room...but then we are going to sit on Daddy's back!!

Check out my black eye

Last week i took a nasty fall in the bath tub (that's what i get for jumping around in the tub). Surprisingly though, i didn't cry that much (maybe for a couple of minutes). But i did get this cool black eye.

My Guitar Pose

As you can see, I have been perfecting my rockstar pose!! I can jam to any song that comes along.

Matthew in a Booster Chair

This past weekend, Mommy and Daddy put Matthew in my booster high chair. Now he can sit at the table with us when we eat. Before he would just have to stay in his baby chair on the floor. Now we can all be together!! I was so excited when he sat next to me that i want to give him a sip of my juice. Of course I have to sit in the big people's chair now. I'm not a big fan of the high chair anymore. I just have to be careful not to fall (which i have done several times).

Tummy Time Faces

Mommy and Daddy have been making Matthew do a lot of tummy time lately. Usually he is able to stay on his tummy for maybe 5 minutes before he starts making funny faces, and then he starts crying...

But when he cries, i'm always there to make sure that my little brother is ok.

Another Bruin in the Works

Daddy and Mommy are grooming me and Matthew to be UCLA Bruins. They (mainly daddy) can't resist dressing us up in Bruin gear. Daddy is already counting down the days till UCLA football starts up again. Go Bruins!!!

Matthew's First Swim

A couple of weekends ago, it got really hot and we decided to take our first swim of the season. I'm an old pro at swimming now, but it was Matthew's first time in the pool. He did a great job, just like i did the first time i went swimming. I can't wait until we get to go swimming again.
