My New Backpack

Betty Nai Nai got me this cool Spiderman backpack.

My Friend Sebastian

My friend Sebastian is my babysitter's son. He comes over with his mom sometimes and we have so much fun playing.

Eating Noodles

I love to eat noodles.

Going for a Walk

Mommy and Daddy bought us a double stroller so that it would be easier for us to go for a walk. Here we are testing our stroller for the first time. I like it so much coz I can either sit or stand depending on my mood.

Visiting Mommy's Work Friends

A little over a week ago, we went to go visit Mommy's work friends. Mommy and her friends had a little picnic for lunch under the trees while my buddy Joseph and I played on the grass... and Matthew enjoyed being held by Mommy's friends.

Wiggles Concert

On Sunday, March 30th...Mommy and Daddy took me to the Wiggles concert at the new Nokia Center at LA Live. Even though i'm more of a Blue's Clues boy now...i still love the Wiggles. I especially love the song "Hot Potato"...that is one of my all time favorites. Anyways, i had a really great time at the concert. Daddy even bought me a wiggles toy which i was clutching almost the whole time at the concert. Unfortunately, we left Matthew at home with Mama...Matthew's to young still to know what a Wiggle is...I can't wait till next year when we can take Matthew also.

Daddy got us great seats for the concert. We were in the orchestra pit, right in the center and only 6 rows from the stage. It was awesome to be sooo close to the action. But them Wiggles look different than they do on TV...they're kinda old looking now. But they're still awesome!!!

Matthew's 2 Month Checkup

On Friday, March 29th, Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor for my two month checkup. Everything checked out great!!! I still have 10 fingers and 10 toes. My latest stats are: weight 14 lbs 2 oz's, height 24 inches and a 15 3/4 inch head. I'm 90 percentile for weight and 75 percentile for height and head size. The doctor said that I ramped up pretty quick considering that i was born 3 weeks early.
************
Here i am stripped down to my diapers waiting for the doctor to come in. Luckily, Mommy and Daddy always have a blanket to keep me warm.

...some more pictures while we waited.

...my pre-checkup

Unfortunatley, the two month visit marks the start of my vaccination shots. At this visit, i was poked 4 times (twice in each of my chubby thighs). I don't remember what the vaccinations were...all i know is that they hurt...A LOT!!! Mommy said i did really well though...she said that same thing happened to my big brother Ethan when he was 2 months old (see pictures below) and i did just as well as he did.

Coldstones

This past Saturday, it was really hot. So we decided to go down to Coldstones in Studio City for some yummy ice cream. I love ice cream. Of course i was sporting my Bruin gear since Saturday was game day for the UCLA basketball team. They won, of course, since i am daddy's UCLA good luck charm.

Baby Matthew

My little brother is starting to become a lot more expressive these days. He's starting to smile and make nice, cute baby noises (as opposed to just crying and farting). I can't wait till he's bigger. He's gonna be my partner in crime!! Mommy and Daddy better watch out!!

Doing the Laundry

Recently, Daddy bought us a new washer and dryer. They're the cool kind where i can watch the clothes spin around and around. Since the doors are about my height, i decided to give mommy a hand today with the laundry.

The Baby Bouncer

Lately, Mommy and Daddy have been putting Matthew in the baby bouncer. This is actually my bouncer!! It's the one that i used when i was a baby. But i don't mind sharing. And i still like to play with the little rattler toys that are on the bouncer.

However, tonight i figured out that the bouncer is actually pretty comfortable to sit in when we watch tv. I might have to claim this back from Matthew. Daddy actually showed me a good sitting position to be in when watching tv (see top right picture).

Easter Sunday

This past sunday, a lot of my family came over to my house to celebrate Easter. I was really happy to see everyone. We had a great lunch and then afterwards they set up an Easter egg hunt for me in our front yard. Everyone was really helpful in helping me hunt down those pesky eggs!! Next year I can't wait for Matthew to join in on the fun. This easter, he mostly slept. But i was an Easter egg hunting machine!!!
******
Pictures of me with everyone...

...and then the hunt begins!!!

Next year i'll show Matthew how to hunt easter eggs. This year, Mommy, Daddy and Ninang Jae did most of Matthew's egg hunting. It's much more fun when you can do it yourself.

March Madness

Daddy has been going nuts recently over UCLA basketball....they have a really good team and they have a great chance of winning the college basketball national championship this year. Anyways, daddy bought me this dope jersey so i can be his little bruin good luck charm. plus when i drool on it, it dries really fast.
Go Bruins!!!

Family Picnic

A couple of weekends ago, we went to have a little family picnic on the grassy area by Mommy's work.
******
Here I am kicking my ball around again.

Daddy chillin' with Matthew.

Mommy with her 2 hungry babies.

My UCLA Hat

Daddy let Matthew try on my UCLA hat but I think it's still too big on him.
*********
Daddy, I think that hat fits better on my head.

Party at Our Cousins' House

A couple of weekends ago, we went to a party at our cousins' house. It was nice to spend time with them especially since we haven't seen them in a while.

Professional Baby Washer

It was Daddy's first time to give Matthew a bath a couple of weeks ago. Matthew didn't even cry very much like he did when Mommy gave him a bath. I think it's coz Daddy is a professional baby washer... He's had lots of experience giving me a bath since I was 7 months old.

Back at UCLA

A couple of weekends ago (3/2), we went back to UCLA. We were finally able to bring Matthew with us since the weather was nice. I had fun kicking my ball around and Mommy and Daddy had a good time buying Bruin gear for the whole family.

A Kiss for My Baby Brother

I love my baby brother so much. I like to kiss him every day.

Tummy Time

Mommy says that Matthew is a strong baby. He can hold his neck up for a long time and he doesn't even mind being on tummy time.

Sad Face and Surprised Face

Daddy showed me how to do a sad face and a surprised face. It looks better when I do it in person but you'll get the idea when you look at these pictures.
*********
This is my surprised face. I open my mouth and I make a "haah" sound.

This is my sad face. I press my lips together and make a "mmm" sound. My lips are supposed to look like an upside down "U" but I'm still working on that.

Matthew's One-Month Birthday and Goo Goo Mei's Birthday

On 2/23, we celebrated Matthew's one-month birthday and Goo Goo Mei's birthday. We went to have lunch at CPK in Westminster and then we went back home to Yeh Yeh's house to hang out and have some coffee and cake.
