Hanging Out at the Park

Mommy, Daddy, Matthew, and I went to the park a couple of weekends ago. Mommy and Matthew watched as Daddy and I played basketball.

Fun with Uncle Nick and Goo Goo Mei

Uncle Nick and Goo Goo Mei came over in the late afternoon on Sunday, 2/17. Matthew slept in Goo Goo Mei's arms while Uncle Nick and I played with our round ottomans. Uncle Nick was the one who showed me how to play with our round ottomans and so every time he comes to our house, I take him to our family room and point to our round ottomans so that he can take them out and play me with me.

My First Trip to UCLA

I went on my first trip to UCLA last Sunday, 2/17. Mommy and Daddy went to school there and they say that they want me and Matthew to go to school there, too. The weather was a little cold and cloudy in the morning so Mommy and Daddy decided to ask Mama to babysit Matthew at home. It turned out to be a beautiful day afterall and I had so much fun even though there were tons of other kids there on a field trip. We met up with my buddy, Tyson, and Uncle Brian. We kicked my Sponge Bob ball, played with some doggies, and ran around on the grass. I had such a good time and can't wait to go back and show Matthew around.

White Corn and Brown Rice

Mommy and Daddy call me their white corn baby coz my skin tone is on the lighter side and they call Matthew their brown rice baby coz his skin tone is more on the tan side.

Hanging Out with the Esguerras

Last Saturday, 2/16, Mommy's side of the family came over to visit. It's so much fun to spend time with family.

I Love Bath Time

Bath time is so much fun. I look forward to it every night. As soon as Daddy says it's time for a bath, I always come running. I love taking a bath so much that when Daddy gets up from his seat and says it's time to get out of the tub, I always tap his stool to sign for him to sit back down. Eventually, I get out of the tub and Daddy wraps me up in my towel like a burrito and sings me our "Baby Burrito" song.

Sleeping Again

Sleeping is one of Matthew's favorite thing to do... aside from drinking milk every 3 hours and pooping twice a day.

Getting Bigger

My baby brother is getting bigger every day. When we went for his 2-week check-up a couple of weeks ago, he already weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces... which was the same weight I was when I was born. Now that he is almost one month old, Mommy weighed him again and he is now a little over 10 pounds. Mommy and Daddy are so amazed at how fast he's growing! I can't wait until he's big enough for me and Daddy to have fun wrestling with him.

Awesome Diaper Cake

Check out this awesome diaper cake that the Mandac Family and the Esguerra Family gave Matthew. Ninang Jae and Ninang Claire pitched in to purchase all the items and Ninang Jae put everything together to make it into this cool diaper cake. Ninang Jae is is the "Martha Stewart" of our family... She is so talented.

Fun at the Mall

Mommy took me and Matthew to the mall so that we're not too cooped up in the house and so that I can burn off some of my excess energy. I had fun playing by the fountain and in the germ pit while Matthew slept the whole time as usual.

This is how I like to eat my food... I like to make a big mess that Mommy and Daddy end up cleaning after each meal.

Meeting More Family

A couple of weeks ago when Matthew first came home, he met more of our family. Here he is with Ninang Claire, Kuya Leo Paul, and Kuya Jared. He's going to love playing with our cousins just like I do.

Matthew's First Trip to Starbucks

Last weekend, we took Matthew on his first trip to Starbucks. He's going to enjoy our trips to Starbucks especially when he can start having some of the yummy donuts that Mommy feeds me.

Working Hard for the Dookie

When i have to drop a deuce, i usually have to concentrate really, really hard. It doesn't come as easy for me as it does for my daddy. =)

Universal Citywalk

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me and Matthew to Universal Citywalk. We had a great time walking around and enjoying the nice day. They said that later on in the summer, they will take me back and let me play in the water fountains (those things that shoot up out of the ground) with all the other kids. They will have to bring a change of clothes for me though cause all the kids who were playing in the fountains on Saturday were soaked. Mommy and Daddy also promised to take me back to Universal Studios when i'm a little bigger.

I was totally mesmerized by the little wave pool at the citywalk. I couldn't stop oohing and ahhing.
