My First Vacation

Since Lola Edith is going to be on vacation for another week, Mommy and Daddy decided to take a vacation also. So today we are going to Palm Springs for a week. Here are some final pictures for those of you who will need your blog fix for the week. Love you all!!

Spending Quality Time with Yeh Yeh

Last week my Lola Edith went on vacation to China. As a result, I needed to find someone to watch me while Mommy and Daddy were at work. Yeh Yeh to the rescue!! Yeh Yeh babysat me Tuesday through Thursday. He drove up from Westminster every morning. He's the best Yeh Yeh in the world!!!

Every morning when Yeh Yeh came up, he would take me out. The first day we went for a walk to Whole Foods, the second day we went to 99 Ranch Market (Betty Nai Nai came up with Yeh Yeh on Wednesday), and the third day he took me to Ace Hardware. There weren't many toys at any of these places, but I had fun anyways.

Mommy and Daddy said that the best thing about having Yeh Yeh babysit me was that he would also cook dinner for us. Daddy loved that!!!

It was a great 3 days with Yeh Yeh (and Betty Nai Nai on Wednesday). I hope he can babysit me more often.

Climbing the Ottoman

Ok, this walking thing is so yesterday's news. I think i need a new challenge. I think it's time to start climbing on furniture. This gives mommy a heart attack though...she thinks i'm going to crash to the floor. Daddy however is more amused than nervous. I guess that's the difference between Mommy's and Daddy's.

I love to watch TV these days. Some of my favorite shows are Wiggles, Backyardigans, and Wonder Pets. Mommy and Daddy especially love to watch Wonder Pets with me in the morning. They even know and sing all the Wonder Pets songs to me all the time. They're so silly.

Another Fun Day at the Grove (Except for the Pigeon)

After my big morning, mommy and daddy took me to the Grove again in the afternoon to play. Like last time, we had lunch at the farmer's market first. But unlike last time, Daddy and I got pooped on by a pigeon this time!! So gross...the pigeon's bomb hit daddy in the shirt and me on my leg...mommy escaped unscathed. At least we didn't get hit in the head or the face. Next time we know where not to sit in the farmer's market.

After lunch, and despite the pigeon poop, the rest of the day was really fun. We hung out on the Grove lawn again, listened to music, and I kept practicing my newly discovered walking skills.

...and my clapping skills (i've mastered this one).
I'm tired of walking and dancing...give me something to hold on to.

Ethan's First Steps

On Sunday morning (Sept 9th), daddy was videotaping me after breakfast. Lucky thing that he did cause he was able to capture my very first steps. It was only three baby steps, but they were still steps. Mommy and daddy were very proud of me. Couple of more weeks and i'm going to really have mommy and daddy on their toes. Heh heh.

We celebrated Kuya Jared's 5th birthday on Monday, 9/3. I had so much fun with my 2 cousins and all my other extended cousins.

Uncle Zach and Auntie Arielle's Wedding

Mommy and Daddy left me for the first time for 1 night to attend Uncle Zach and Auntie Arielle's wedding last Saturday, 8/25, in Carpinteria (which is near Santa Barbara). They left me in good hands with Goo Goo Mei and Uncle Nick... but Mommy still couldn't help feeling sad when she left me coz that was the first time she wasn't going to have me sleep next to her at night. Daddy has been away on business trips before so he wasn't as sad.

Anyway, Mommy and Daddy had such a good time at the wedding. They got to dance and hang out with Mommy's work friends.

The next day, Mommy and Daddy got back home and I was so happy to see them. They said that they missed me so much.

Sunday at Grandma's

On Sunday Afternoon, we went to go visit Grandma. When i got there, grandma let me play a few jams on the key board...

and also lay down a few beats on Uncle Tim's drum set....

After rocking out...i had to chill out for a bit with Uncle Tim.

Saturday with Yeh Yeh

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me back to Westminster to hang out with Daddy's family. Mommy and Daddy had a wedding to go to that night so Yeh Yeh was on babysitting duty. Yeh Yeh and Betty Nai Nai were well prepared though...they bought me all these new toys for me to play with.

Soon reinforcements came...Googie, Uncle Jack and Grandma came over to help.

As usual, before Mommy and Daddy left me to go to the wedding, they wanted to take a family picture.

And then Yeh Yeh took care of me for the rest of the night. I got really attached to Yeh Yeh during my day with him. I can't wait to see him again soon.

And here's a picture of Mommy and Daddy at the wedding. The wedding that they went to was in Long Beach (where mommy and daddy got married also). The building to the right in the background is the Long Beach Hyatt where mommy and daddy had their wedding reception.

Wedding Anniversary and More Good News!!

Last Thursday, August 30th, was Mommy and Daddy's four year wedding anniversary. They can't believe how fast time flies. They went to Cafe Bizou that night for their anniversary dinner and they left me at home with Mama.

Since it is Mommy and Daddy's anniversary, here is a picture from their wedding. It was on this very weekend four years ago. Here's a picture that was taken during Mommy and Daddy's grand entrance. They had such a good time that night. I wish i could've been there.

But Mommy and Daddy's four year anniversary is not the only good news that i have to share...i'm proud to announce that i'm going to be a big brother soon. Mommy is pregnant!!! My little brother or sister will be arriving in February. Here is our first family picture with the four of us. =)
