Happy New Year!!!

Mommy was telling me about New Year's celebrations tonight, since it is my first New Year's Eve. She mentioned how lots and lots of people get together on December 31st each year to celebrate the end of the current year and also the beginning of the New Year. Mommy also said that 2006 will always be a very special year for her and daddy because that's the year I was born. Geez...mommy is so mushy.

Mommy also said that in some places, people will celebrate by setting off fireworks...

And in New York, thousands of people will gather in Times Square and they will wait for a giant ball to drop out of the sky to ring in the New Year...so cool!!!!

Wow!! New Year's sounds fun. I can't wait till I can join in on the celebrations. But for now, since i'm a still a baby, I think I'll just stay home and celebrate with my mommy and daddy. But i would like to wish all my family and new friends a very Happy New Year! I hope 2007 will be filled with much love and success for all of you.
Love, Baby Ethan (and Andrew & Janice)

Before and After Photos

I'm growing so fast...my face is changing every day. Mommy and daddy say that I'm getting more and more handsome by the minute. I disagree...I think it's by the second. Ha Ha!!
****
Check out my "Before" picture from when i was less than one month old, and my "After" picture (taken just a couple days after Christmas). In my "After" picture, please take note of my stylishly disheveled hairstyle and my sexy stare that turns all the old ladies at the mall to mush...strangely though, that's also the same stare that I use when I try and tell my mommy and daddy that I have a hot, steaming poopie in my pants.

Shopping With Mommy

This past week, Mommy took me shopping at Fashion Square and also at the Topanga Mall.
****
As usual, that meant nap time.
But i do usually wake up for long enough to take a few pictures. My fans demand it. =)

Hello Ate Suen!!

Today i got to meet my Ate (big sister) Suen from Australia. I was really glad to meet her...but i couldn't understand a word she was saying because of that funny accent of hers. =) Anyways, she's going to be going home on monday. I won't see her again until April, when she comes back for her wedding. I miss her already...I can't wait to see her again soon.

Bath Time

Mommy and Daddy have been giving me a bath every other day. They say that i don't need one every day because i always smell so good.
****
Daddy washes me in my baby bath tub. Here he's rinsing my back. I like the warm water.

Mommy says that i'm a buddha baby...i don't get it.

After my bath, they wrap me in my towel and take me to my changing table. At my changing table, daddy usually powders me until i look like a sugar donut, puts on my diapers and gets me into some fresh clothes.

Sometimes...when my parents are least expecting it, i like to flash them.
And voila!! The finished product...a fresh smelling baby with poofy hair.

My Various Faces

Daddy took these up close pictures of me tonight.

Lunch at El Cholo's

Yesterday, mommy and daddy took me to meet Uncle Dave and Auntie Chai Kee. We had lunch at El Cholo's in Pasadena. I can't wait until the day when I can have a margarita there. Uncle Hien was going to join us also, but Angelina wasn't feeling well and had to go to the doctor. Hopefully she didn't have to get a shot like i did when i went to my doctor last time. Anyways, I really enjoyed meeting Uncle Dave and Auntie Chai Kee. I hope to see them again soon.

Glendale Galleria with Daddy's Friends

Today I went to the Glendale Galleria and got to meet more of daddy's friends from UCLA. I met Uncle Alex, Aunt Jackie, Uncle Kirby and Uncle Ray (who we ran into inside the mall). And most importantly, I also got to meet my buddy Ryder!! We all had lunch at Red Robin restaurant and then we went shopping for a while.
*****
Here I am with the Niu's. Little does Uncle Alex know that i'm dropping a load right in his arms. =)

Here's my daddy with Ryder. Daddy likes Ryder a lot cause he's got lots of jelly rolls and also likes to play and laugh so much.
Ryder and I exchanged gifts. Here's Ryder opening up the Christmas present that we gave him.
Mommy held Ryder for a while and she tried to make me jealous...but I was cool like a cat.
Group picture with Ryder. That bug better not land on my head.
Daddy's friends at Baby Style (waiting for the mommies to finish shopping). Uncle Ray was very traumatized at being in a baby store.

Daddy telling Ryder some good jokes...

After a fun filled afternoon at the Glendale Galleria, we finally had to say goodbye. We took one final group picture with Uncle Alex, Aunt Jackie and Ryder (at Macy's). The Niu's said that they are off to Hawaii for the next two weeks. What's Hawaii?? Anyways, it was great to meet all of you and I hope to see you again soon.
